The contrast ratio of 600:1 might be of concern,

I bought a 1200:1 HDTV from Evesham, it was next to a 1000:1 in the showroom. The colour on the 1200:1 looked a lot better in comparison.

I wonder whether 600:1 might look quite washed out.

cheers stormpool

is the resolotion adequate for HDTV?

  Stormpool 11:02 30 Mar 2007

That resolution is normal for HDTVs, you won't get high until you spend a substantial amount of cash!

I bought the Evesham 32' Alqemi LCD TV, it's £449. £100 more, but I'd give the 5 stars..

the resolution stated will give 1080i which when you check on the xbox set up is the second highest resolution possible . big bucks to get the highest which is 1080p resolution 1920 x 1080
