Hi,Family member bought a LCD TV last year which was advertised has HD ready. It even has this printed on the TV.He went to connect a DVD recorder to the TV ,only to find no HDMI sockets, on the TV,just 1 VGA.Is this a HD ready TV?,if not can it be returned?.Cheers
Is it HD Ready or HD Capable?
The TV states HD ready.Thats why he bought it,but like I said no HDMI sockets. Thanks for your help -Jon-.Cheers
No worries... I just remember reading about HD Ready / HD Capable. What's the tv make and model?
This might apply to your family members TV: click here
Hi all,its a philips LCD,there is no DVI socket.Cheers
Yes as ßeta has asked the model number would be useful. Some TVs do have their HDMI or DVI sockets hidden under a plastic cover, perhaps yours has?
The manual should clear up any problems/queries regarding the various sockets.
try and obtain the model number.Cheers
