Graphic Card Confusion

I am about to upgrade my graphic card & have to admit to being confused by the plethora of cards on offer at the moment.

Any ideas for a budget of 100 squid (give or take a couple of rounds at the bar).

Cheers for any advice.

Sorry should have mentioned its a pci-e one I need!

a 6600gt is good and is the best mid range card, plus it can do the latest shaders etc that make games look good.

Or try here click here

If you can stretch to £125 or so, then the ATI Radeon X800 GTO is very highly rated, although availability doesn't seem to be too good.

If you really are constrained to £100, then don't dismiss the NVidia 6600 range - the XFX Geforce 6600 Extreme Gamer Edition has had good reviews and can be had for £99.62 here click here

At this price range, hard to beat.

I'd go for that one too. Good spot!

I've just bought this one as I've found MSI motherboards and graphics cards to be very good click here

You could get a Radeon X1300 with 512MB for £96.

It isn't actually as good as a 6600GT, but the 512MB would be something to boast about in the pub! Or not.

Cheers all!

Just got myself what I hope is a bargain - a 4 month old MSI Gefoce 6600GT (the same one recommended by Totally-braindead) for £54 delivered (e-bay of course).

All being well when it arrives I think I'll be a happy chappy.

Thanks again.

New card has arrived ................whoosh

Sometimes I just love ebay
