I had one of these some time ago - and several replacements until I said enough's enough.
At each failure there was a Code 10 error.
What I did eventually (after getting a refund) was to buy and exteranl case and put an old hard drive that I already had into it.
Even if I'd bought a new drive, it would have been cheaper than the less that "high quality" effort from Freecom.
