Exemplary service from Argos

This is not computer related. Last October, i bought a hand held steamer from Argos. The last time i used it, it got too hot to handle. I think the themostat was faulty. Having found the receipt, i returned it to Argos where it was exchanged on the spot. Why can't more retailers behave like this? It does build customer loyalty.

Ditto with myself and a phone I wanted to return. Couldn't find the receipt but brought along the bank statement with the relevant entry. Changed straight away. Would I have had the same service from an internet company I wonder?
