Probably to syncronise adverts with the type of buyer.
Rough example -big servers for industry and public sectors. H. duty Lasers rather than inkjet printers.

Financially may be worth setting up a credit account with a regular large volume buyer.

So if i wanted a home pc i can still buy it from the public sector section, because i configured one in the public sector and it satisfied my spec and cost.

No I'm afraid you can't as you are not public sector. Public sector is things like schools, hospitals and councils.

You will also find that 'public sector' purchases are for vat registered establishments. The consumer laws are also slightly different.

Thank you all for your help i will look at the ones in the home section which have a fair selection.
