I've been buying inks from click here for my Epson R220 printer. At first they were Sumvision brand, then S-Vision and now Projet.Has anyone tried the Projet brand? Not sure whether to try them or buy elsewhere.

They may very well be the same cartridges but another re-badged name - I've had different "brands" over the years for my R300 (same cartridges), including the Sumvision from DiskDepot, and the cartridges appear to be identical.

Might be a way of getting round Epson's known opposition to compatible cartridges for their printers.

I use pro-jet in my Epson R200 & Epson Photo 895. I've had no problem, and I buy from here. click here

Thanks all.
I'll try the Projets from Disk Depot. At 71p each + delivery the price is competitive and I can't fault their service.Combining an order with two friends using the same cartridges helps on the P&P.

I have 2 Epson R220 printers, both of which are fitted with a CIS System. Haven't bought an ink cartridge for over two years now.

I buy bulk ink (100ml bottles at around £1.49 each)and top up the external reservoirs. 100ml is about the equivalent of 7 ink cartridges.

Both these printers are also modified so that the waste ink goes in to an external container at the back of the printer and not on to the waste ink pad.
