email for windows 7

i have just got a new computer which is on windows 7, but i can't find an email server. on my last one i used outlook express. can anyone tell me which email server is best to use with windows 7 and that is accepted by virgin media as they don't appear to accept all servers? thanks for help.

I use can't say if Virgin accept it.

I use Outlook 2007, but I think MS live mail is free.

try web based gmail its free from google, good spam filter with it too

If you just want the mail run the download and just choose the e-mail unless you want the rest to go with it.

AS per buteman I use Live Mail on my win 7 machine outlook is OK if running buisness and you want all the other office features.

everytime i install incredimail my computer starts crashing. anyone know why please?

Emisoft treats it as a Trojan and blocks it from downloading so not sure if you use Emisoft or not.

never heard of emisoft! what is it? is there any other security software that is not compatable with incredimail? thanks all.
