Hi My friend has asked me to find him a cheap, economical printer mainly for printing documents. £100 is about the maximum. He'll be using the printer a fair bit for his work and studies and doesn't want to be crippled by the price of consumables. With this in mind I've been looking at mono-lasers but am open to ideas. The Samsung ML-1915 and SCX-4600 look very good from the reviews here but the toner seems fairly expensive. Does anyone know if you can buy compatibles? The Brother mono-lasers also look interesting. Any advice/ideas is much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Richard.
I bought one and I like it. I intend to refill the toner cartridge myself.click here
