I need a dvd rewriter. Anyone using a reasonably priced one that they recommend?.

I have a philips drive from PCW £49 it's superb, really quiet, haven't had a coaster yet.

Which model do you have?.

the drive click here= appears it's now £59.99, I paid £49 a month ago

here's another philips click here= the only difference I can see is this one doesn't have lightscribe.

Believe me I don't think lightscribe is worth it.

for a good LG model - £32 if you have a PCW near you and want to collect it in store/

Like SG Atlantis®, I'd give lightscribe a miss until it gets itself sorted out.

I had an LG in my last machine and it whirred like hell. Philips are my flavour of the month. The philips in my last link is what I'd suggest.... £31 if you reserve it first online then collect and pay for it instore.

Bought one of these on offer at 39.99 a few months ago, also superb, no failures, very quiet and several firmware updates automatically. click here
