ddr ram 3200

im ordering a gigabyte motherboard GA-8KNXP and it says it supports dual ddr ram 3200. I have had much experience at all about dual ram....but does that mean i have to order the ram as a pair from places like crucial and geil. or can i just order any two...for example can i order any two 512mb 3200 ddr ram too get this 'dual' effect...

sorry if i seem thick lol just not had too install dual ram before

"Dual DDR RAM" means dual channel, you can get twice the memory bandwidth by placing using two sticks of ram, one in each memory channel slot.
You can run it in single channel mode though by just using 1 stick of ram, but then you dont get as much memory bandwidth.

Basically, yes, if you use 2 512 sticks of ram you'll have 1gb of memory running in dual chanel mode, providing you put them in the right memory slots so read your motherboard very carefully. click here for some dual channel secific TwinMos 3200 DDR RAM at a very good price.
