Creative Zen Micro or Nomad?

  bamfiesler 00:08 12 Apr 2005

Had my eye on one of the micros, but then saw an ad for the Nomad with firewire.

Any views on what's best for ease-of-use and transfer to and from PC?

Thanks to all, etc.

I've got a Creative Nomad jukebox Zen Xtra with a 30Gb drive. Transferring Wma or Mp3 tracks takes about 1 sec per track, but this uses USB2 not firewire.
Are you sure about the Firewire?

iRiver the best of the lot, all singing all dancing........holds about 15000 tracks

Lemme know what you think, as I'm a novice. Thought firewire was great, if true!

If the unit advertised has firewire, it must be old stock (visit the creative site for the latest spec). My unit is 30Gb, and cost £140 new including postage. Recharging is via a supplied psu, not USB.
Personally, I would not trust Ebay having been done before!
