Corrupt IE6 file

  Bribabby 10:21 19 Oct 2006

Iam getting an error message which reads;
Windows corrupt file. The file or directory C:\Documents and Settings\owner\local settings\temporary internet files\content.IE5\hrskude6 is corrupt and unreadable. Please run Chkdsk.
Iassume that this is the reason I cannot delete my email messages.
WhenI go to RUN and type in Chkdsk it scrolls through a lot of error messages without stopping and the problem remains.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Depending what it is, some files are locked in use and can only be done on reboot. For a thorough check on everything:

chkdsk /f /v /r

Reboot and go and make some tea and watch the news for a bit...
