My wife sent one of my photos off to my son who got it printed on canvas. It came back as a present and looks good. I think that they used Kodak Gallery click here.

If you are into printing that is and you have a moderate photo quality printer.

Any art shop
Gesso primed canvas for Water Colour/Acylics.
and go for it.
99p shop have the suff on rolls when they have an 'Art' week, gives about 10 A4 sheets for 99p

and possibly better quality.
You can lose resolution prinit on canvas- simply because the woven[up and down] nature of the fabric.
So T-shirt print transfer material.
Follow the instruction and transfer the result to any surface that will take it.
