Canon S900 replacement

  sheila.weston 10:15 07 Oct 2007

Can someone suggest a replacement for my Canon C900 printer which has just stopped working after several years of good service. I like the six ink option, although am not sure if it really saves money. Views are welcome on this. I buy replacement jettec inks from SVP at click here

The S900 is about 30cms/12" deep (front to back) and I would like one about the same depth.

I need good quality B & W printing and also good quality photoprints for occasional photos.

Many thanks.

See click here.

I have just bought a Canon Pixma iP4300 from PCWorld and, if I get it going again, will use the S900 as a reserve. For the record, PC World have a replacement for the iP4300 which is £20 more expensive but, according to the sales girl, is identical in its specifications. PC World (Hedge End, Southampton) have just a few of the iP4300 left.

many thanks.
