Canon Pixma iP5200 Printer

I am looking for a new inkjet printer for home use. Most of the ones reviewed seem to be photo printers and although I would be doing some photo printing I would also do light general text printing. I am interested in the Canon Pixma iP5200 but is this also suitable for general text prining or is it really only best for photo printing.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the IP4200 & I am delighted with it, it's way ahead of the Epsons I have used for some years. A great printer!
