Laser as B/W Photo printer?
Samsung ML2250 is 1200 x 1200 dpi laser printer. How good will the printer be to produce B/W photographs?

I don't know that model printer but my hp4l does a decent job and it is pretty old. Newer ones should be even better.

Be careful about the choice of paper you use for your photos.

Photo paper designed for inkjet printers MUST NEVER be used in laser printers. This is because the gelatin or polymer surface will melt in the heated interior of the printer and ruin both the printer parts and the picture.

Having said that, I have several ML1210 printers which have produced some very acceptable B/W pictures on good quality paper. Don't expect a Cartier Bresson on cheapo copy paper.

Thanks, it is reassuring!

Give Choice Stationery a try: click here

and try their Coated Matt paper which, they say is suitable for use on laser printers as well as inkjets.
