Buying from PC Specialist

I was looking at Dell or Mesh for a new PC - based on advice in these forums I have now also been looking at a machine from PCSpecialist.

The site works well and I have spec'd up what seems a good machine.

Only a couple of queries;

Has anyone had any experiance of PCSpecialist (my wife is very concerned at buying from an "unknown" manufacturer??)

Also I have spec'd a machine with PCI express video card but this is obviously slightly more expensive than say 8xAGP - is the "express" going to deliver any benifit?

Type PCSpecialist in the Search Forum box at the top. Much to be read....

Yea i came across them a few months ago when trying to get a new gaming computer, i was a little concerned myself at first but in the end i decided to go with them and i can only describe the whole experience as flawless.

Good price, excellent customer service and best of all it was ready 3 days earlier than they said it would be which was a nice surprise when i got home that evening.

I would recommend them to anyone.

You could try pcoption.co.uk there prices are far and away the best i have ever seen, i ordered one for my girlfriends mother yesterday of them
