BTBroadband bouquet

I got my BTBroadband and free modem and was up and running in a few minutes. A few days later I could connect to the internet but no WEB pages would display. So, I tried their helpline which was answered in seconds. The techie tried changing DNS server entry and a few other things and it still would not work, so he said a specialist would phone me that evening (I was out during the day) at 5:45 to 8pm. After the call I fiddled with a few setting like turning off ICS (which was remnant I no longer used) and changing a few other things and bingo it all worked. Here comes the good bit. I was late home and did not feel guilty as I was sure no one phone. But 5:45 my wife got a call. 15 mins later another one, who then said could I phone him. When I got is I phoned and they politely accepted my excuse and were glad to hear problem solved. Not their service just a badly set up PC.
Excellent response and trying the help. I wonder what cheaper options are like?

I am on "cheaper" option for over a year. 512K no cap £18.99 a month, monthly contract. No problem with connection and speed, no need to call them. I think this is also the case for most BB users.

So cheap options are not necessaily bad.
