Bt price rise

Just received a email from BT informing me that my monthly broadband package price is increasing from 18th April. No explanation just an automated email !

In case you had not noticed but we are in a bit of a financial mess at present. Welcome to the real world.

I seem to be getting 'welcome back' emails and letters from BT, offering all sorts of incentives, including time limited lower cost packages.

Might pay to join up again as a new subscriber ;o)

BT has been announcing price rises for some weeks in advance.

It is worth considering Sky as an alternative. I doubled my speed whilst at the same time halved the cost.

The changeover was easy plus you speak to a UK call centre rather than India.

I used Zen for some years (Expensive) & it was with some trepidation I changed over to Sky. I need not have worried, I've been with Sky well over a year without issue.

Whilst everyone won't get the same results I did get double my BT speed.

Or try O2, if you've got an O2 PAYG phone it's under £8 for a truly unlimited 8meg connection...

My broadband contract expires soon and I am thinking of moving to BT, O2 or Sky since all offer special packages to existing customers.
