This is a panegyric for the much maligned ISP. I have recently moved from Yorkshire to Cornwall and taken my BT service with me. My total input to the change over was a single phone call about two weeks before my move. As soon as I plugged in at my new address everything went like clockwork; no glitches at all. Yes, I know that is how things should work but tales of woe on the subject are common.
There is always a downside and just before I typed this I read Rosemary Haworth's article in the current edition of PCA (page 100) now I am back to my usual state of paranoia with the internet. No peace for the wicked.

Congratulations on moving to a wonderful place, congratulations on your success with BT.

It reminds me in a way of "facts" about things like reliability and so on. For all that say 30% of some cars from certain manufacturers have faults in the first 12 months there are 70% who have no faults.
