Best Audio SoundCard under £45?

It's simply for movies and listening to music from the PC via my stereo NOT gaming, my best bet so far seems to be the SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio...any other suggestions?

Isn't there one built-in to the PC already?

Why not use that.

You can get the best sound card around, but if the speakers (or indeed the available music or games sound inputs) aren't up to the same quality, then onboard sound or a SoundBlaster Live! will be more than good enough.

To be honest, modern onboard sound chipsets from Realtek and C-Media more than match most reasonably priced sound cards; some of these sound cards actually use the equivalent onboard chipsets.

Man, that's confused my decision making further. The stereo and the speakers they'll be running through are of good quality.
