I don't have PCI Express and am stuck with AGP. I wopuld like to upgrade from my old Geoforce 5700 LE to something more powerful. Can anyone reccomend the top of range AGP that is still available please ?

Keep in mind this card needs to connect to the main power supply as well as the AGP graphics slot.

You may need to upgrade your psu as well if you have no spare connectors and if you have a low power psu......450W or there about is the minimum requirement with a card like that.

7800gs agp is good about £180, you need a decent psu for these cards.

The best AGP card ever is the Gainward BLISS 7800GS+

Top of this list click here

Its really a full on 7900GT with 512MB onboard memory and a quiet cooler........very quick.Spoken from experience as it's what I use myself!

It is however expensive, and the new ATI X1950pro isn't that far behind for £70 less.
