My in-laws are likely to be spending alternate 6 months in the UK and 6 months in New Zealand. While in the UK they'd like broadband to correspond with daughter in NZ, but being pensioners are reluctant to sign up for a 12 month contract. Anyone doing pay as you go broadband???

Alternatively, they could sign up with an ISP that offers a 1 month contract. There are more of those.

The only problem with having a connection for only 6 months will be that they will have to pay a connection charge each time they sign up, which could prove costly.

click here is the one I used

-> select 'order by minimum contract'

although, as mentioned you'll probably pay a connection fee (if it wasn't included already), for cancelling before 12 months.
