AOL Broadband through NTL cable problem

  tigerb 13:26 01 Jan 2004

I ordered an upgrade to aol broadband in november, they promiced to have it up and running by xmas (it being a present) ntl fitted the cable and modem box eventualy on 20 december the fitters said aol should have sent specific drivers for it, but of course these have still not arrived, so the surprize present bit the dust. Has anyone else had this problem and if i cancel will they try to charge me for the ntl fitters.

why would you cancel? Have you tried the aol help line? Have you thought of getting an ntl account? Do you have internet access through the Broad band? What drivers is it you need? The modem would have its own drivers, I would have thought you only need to access aol to be "online" and active.
