That sounds good, don't suppose you know if it will support this as my isp says my adsl modem should have RJ-11 line connection Data must be carried on pins 3 and 4. The remaining pins must not be used.
The modem must operate fully in accordance with the following standards :
ITU-T G.992.1
ITU-T G.994.1
and be capable of being configured to operate over VPI 1 / VCI 50.
In order to access services the modem when used in conjunction with a
personal computer (PC) must be able to establish a PPP session in
accordance
with RFC 1661
support PPPoA as defined in RFC 2364
support Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) in accordance
with RFC 1994
obtain an IP address from the network
shape upstream traffic to the maximum upstream service bit-rate.

Pipex are offering 600k broadband for £20 a month and you get a free ADSL modem and filters. My mates just signed up and im tempted too. The modem is for keeps aswell not just a free loan I believe.

No cheap modem is as good as the last offer...:-)

I was going to say that Scan of Bolton do the Samsung ones for reasonable prices, especially on its TodayOnly pages when they are featured.

How much you want to pay? Mail me!!

I am on Pipex ADSL and find them very good. This seems to be an offer "not to be missed". Rental £23.34 month including VAT. You must have a BT line.

Check what they are charging for line activation.
