£30 at PCWorld - I can't find any reivews so if anyone knows anything about it, I'd be pleased.

I've just watched Dr Who and it reminds me of a Cyberman's head.

Other than that, I couldn't comment. ;-))

Its a bargain, collect at store only and there aren't any in stock in any store in Northern Ireland!!

Check prices and availability of consumables.

Ask why this is a "clearance" product. Usually clearance products are just a few oddments left over in store, not an amount sufficient to stock nearly all PCWorld stores and advertise on their web site. Is it because it didn't sell originally? If so, why didn't it?

Maximum size paper is only 4" x 6".

Better off buying a standard Epson photo printer that takes up to A4 size paper. Most Epsons come with Photoquicker which gives many print options eg. 1, 2, 4, 8 or Index print (20, 40 or 80) on one A4.

Thanks for all those.

I've got a good printer which prints very nicely.

Think I'll give this a miss - seems good value, but not necessary.

Just purchased one from the local PCW, and it seems a nice little piece of kit for £29.97. Comes complete ready to work out the box, including sample photo paper, except the usb cable, which is £9.99 from PCW, but I buy mine for less than a pound each.

These units are made in China around 2004, and in the box there are a couple of special promotional offers like £10 off an HP bluetooth dongle, but it would appear the offer's may have finished in December 2004!.

Aldi have a Tevion professional photo printer, which was £79.99 now being offered at £49.99, for anyone in the market for a photo printer.

The HP printers are end of line. Being replaced with slightly more up to date models (bigger LCD screen mainly!)

Bit of a bargain quite frankly.

Print quality very good, uses one cartridge, maximum 6 x 4 prints, approx 125 prints per cartridge.

As i recall, these were on promotion over xmas at £74.99 and sold pretty strongly.

If anyone desperately wants to know if there is a store near them with stock, post back with your location and i will check when i am at work tomorrow.

IIRC the Aldi photo printer is a thermal type model.
