Any BB suppliers that don't insist on 12 months?

I ask, as I intend to move from my current flat in around 5 months time, and don't want to sign up for BB, and then have to pay the rest of the contract when I want to move on.

Researched this myself, as I was in a similar predicament.

For one month contracts, it came down to a simple choice:

Zen Internet (£29.99 inc/pm)

Freedom to Surf (£22.50 inc/pm)

Both were offering reduced price line activation, £25+VAT for Zen and £29.99+VAT for F2S. There's less than £2 between them for overall cost for that month, and both require 1 month's forward notification for cancellation. You can agree a provisional cancellation date (ie, you can change your mind if you need to and pay pro rata till the date you no longer need the service, be that a week or just 4 days for example).

I'm not sure if any other ISP offers the reduced offer for line actvation together with 1 month minimum contracts (the closest was 3 months with Nildram I think), BT et al bind you for the full 12 months even though line activation is zero charge.

Take your pick:

You might also try They also have a special offer going at present. They have a monthly contract with a month's notice of wanting to cancel the contract. Good Luck!

Just search for some ISP which don't require a 12-month contract by using click here like Powerless mentioned. You should get a few results.
