Analogue or DVI

I note that most TFT monitors come with D Sub (analogue) connectors rather than DVI. Since TFT monitors are digital machines this seems rather strange. When I built my computer I made sure that my graphics card had a DVI connector as well as analogue. Now that I am considering purchasing a TFT monitor, does it really matter which I choose?

Yes It does.

You want to buy a Flat Panel that has a DVI connector, otherwise you will not be able to use the DVI output from your Graphics Card.

This would result in a detioration of display and possible ghosting.

I believe it does make a difference but I've just bought a cheap TFT which only has the Dsub and the pictures great. I suggest you read the last PC Advisor where they reviewed TFTs and mention some monitor that even without a DVI connector give excellent pictures.
