Hi I am looking for an all in one A4 printer for my son.
Needs to be able to scan and take a card from a digital camera, the most important is the printing of good quality photos.
Price around £275/350 mark.
Any advice would be welcome.

For the money you are planning to spend you really should be able to get hold of a top quality piece of equipment ive found these type of printers to be good quality yet must admit to not seeing ones as expensive as the money you are willing to spend.

Im locked out of most sites i would use to source this but ill try and remember to have a look when i get home from work.

Agree with laurie53.

The C6180 Has wired and wireless networking, camera card slots, preview screen, individul ink cartridges, and excellent photo reproduction.

I have recently purchased an HP Photosmart C3180 from PCWorld. Cost £39.95 reduced from £99.95, now on offer for about £59.95. Seems an okay printer.Replacement cartridges do vary considerably in price though, so shop around.

I recently bought the HP C4180, £69.95, with all the features you specify. I've been very impressed - photos are excellent, even on the cheapest paper from Tescos. Only drawback is that the driver in the box won't work with Vista, but there is one on the HP website.

I have recently purchased an epson RX560 all in one, I am very pleased with it the colour photo fuction is stunning. It does all that the average user would require and it cost £100 plus £3 delivery, it was on offer from Dixons on line. Disadvantages? A bit slower than claimed and ink capacity is low, however 6 inks seperatly replaceable at £6plus each or very good clones at half the price. all in all I think a good buy. Braiman

Hi all thanks for the feed-back on the all in one printers the wireless is very fitting for his needs.
I am also considering a new printer and it’s good to hear what others have experienced.
Thanks again.
