Advice on Sony Vaio notebook purchase needed

  redkennie 13:12 03 Jan 2008

I've been looking around for a new laptop, and have decided to go with the Sony Vaio VGN-CR21L/S. They seem to be around £900, though I have found one at for £779, which seems pretty good.

However, I have also found the Sony Vaio VGN-CR11L/S for as little as £649. The only difference I can tell is that this model is a little older, and has 120gb rather than 160gb hard drive.

I'm not that bothered whether I have 120gb or 160gb or memory, and I'm always happy to save myself some money! Can anyone tell me if there is any other difference between the two models, and whether there are strong reasons for purchasing the latest rather than *just* out of date model?
