Can anyone recommend a paper to use to create nice business cards with my Epson R800 and a decent retailer that sell it.

You can buy 'Avery' business cards from most large stationers or computer shops, they come in A4 size sheets. I think there are several sizes of card, just print them and break them apart. And, they are easy to use - just set up a label in Word and copy your design into the cells then print.

Good quality card can be obtained from here click here and also from here click here. I bought good card at the Mill which is near Kendall some time ago and it make very good heavy business cards which you have to cut yourself

The Avery card I used was J8414 which gives a 50.8 x 85.0mm card and you get 10 to a sheet. It's a heavy card, 225gsm and it is designed for ink-jet printing BUT only on one side the other is semi-gloss and wont be printable on, most cards are only one sided anyway.

For a good professional look I use Paper Direct:

MicroPerf work out at £12.95 for 50 sheets (500) cards, plus VAT and plus Delivery. All have pre-printed templates, just enter your own details.

But for ordinary plain white I use Choice Stationery: click here

£4.99 for 25 sheets (250) cards including VAT and delivery.

Try a small printers shop and ask for 330 gram.
Size A4 is approx 15p per sheet and prints 10 cards of own design. No printing problems and excellant quality

Agree with ray7. I use a good quality 330 gram A4 card with a textured finish to it. Design your card in word, set your size then copy paste 9 times to fit 10 cards to a page.

Try small craft shops, they stock a varied range of card for wedding - anniversary - birthday use.
