Looking in PC World and noticed laptop from Advent £450 - The Advent 7105
Anyone have any experiences/knowledge of this or other Advent laptops?
Is this a good deal, or are there better bargins around for a similar price?

For another £30, you could get this one

which has a much better processor, with the other specs almost the same. However, the price ending in a 7 (£479.97) means that the product is end of line, so you may find that stocks are limited. If your local store doesn't have one, see if they can get one in for you fom anoother branch. You can use the collect at store option on the web site to see check if local stores have one in stock.

Hope this helps.

Advent stuff from PCWorld invariably works well and is reliable. Don't spend megabucks on additional warranties

Go for it, better than buying a pc from mesh or evesham.
