Advent 3218 desktop computer

I bought the above PC from PC world Inverness. after about three months I was given the upgrade to windows Vista by the techguys.
After this instal everything went wrong. In the end, on the advise of TTGuys I re-installed all the software no go. Repeated same still nothing. I took the machine to the store for a health check. I was informed that they could not fix the problem at that time because it was a hardware fault, and that I would be given another appointment. After numerous phone calls and two letters to the manager I got nowhere. It is now nine months later, I am still paying the full amount every month for the service agreement. I get nothing but ignorance, Can you advise my further course of action. Thank you
