So are Acer Laptops worth the money?

Yes, but not sure about the aftercare support though ;o).

I've had an Acer Laptop for six months and I'm very happy with it. I also know of two other people who have bought Acer Laptops and they are also very pleased with thier purchases...

Incidentally, all three machines were in the £500 - £600 price range.

I bought mine on the basis that it was (IMO) very good value for money.

Bought mines last December and still working great. Don't know about what Spuds is saying because mines hasn't had one problem. Mines is a higher spec Centrino with ATI graphics and 1Gb of RAM.Great machine

Thumbs up here for the machine itself but thumbs down for aftersales who managed to send it to the wrong country when the hard drive failed.

Yes, Acer laptops are worth the money - in my honest opinion they are the best value laptops around. The Spec for the price is amazing when compared to the bigger brands. Had mine since December and never had any problems, its a mid spec laptop from the Aspire range and works a treat!
