Bulldog and F2S estimate my line at 6-8Mbs, this service only estimated at 2Mbs

Used Madasafish for some years. Find them very reliable, helpful and great VFM.

I do have the option to upgrade to 8MB at no cost but BT advise that my line only supports 2MB

Interesting comment Biotech, I will check this.

All these 8Mb services always state "up to 8 Mb" because not all line can get the full 8 Mb. I know one peson on Wanadoo who gets 6 Mb.

Good point about the fact that not all can get the 8Mbps speed. If I post similar offers in the future, I'll try to remember to include this important detail.

Of course, as with all offers/good buys posted here (or anywhere else), in the end it's the buyers' responsibility to find out all the relevant details before committing. G

Not criticising the post, just wondered why my line tested at 6-8 Mb with some providers and only 2Mb with this one. I am within a mile of my telephone exchange. Be is supposed to be updating my exchange to 24Mb by September but I think 8Mb would be more than adequate.

Crossbow7, I think it is 5gb limit and not 5mb.

My phone number from the site is on a max of 2mb not 8mb but even then that is still a good deal.

"I think it is 5gb limit and not 5mb" - you're right pj123, thanks!

Putting the green tick on this one. G
