benchmarks for 8800gtx are on dailytech.com. x1950xtx is blown out of the water.

Does this generation support DirectX 10 now?

I'm sure when ATI releases it's new generation of cards, it will have something to give the 8800gtx a good run for it's money

yes it is a dx10 card.

  Totally-braindead 19:00 08 Nov 2006

If graphics cards keep going the way they are, demanding more power it'll soon get to the stage when you'll have 2 power supplies in your PC rather than one.
Mega card I must admit but it'll probably cost as much as my entire computer does.

Trouble is I probably can't afford the card. I will wait until DX10 games come out, and hope the price for the card is affordable.

  Probabilitydrive 20:55 08 Nov 2006

This is an awsome beast and the price is surprisingly half as eyewatering than anticipated. Zap over to click here.

Wow, from £370.11 inc vat to £605.11 (I've brought cars for less:).

I'll prob end up getting one, I like games and will be getting a larger tft, so will need a hefty gfx card to run at best res.
