Washing machine

This obviously isn't computer related but I was loading the washing machine a short time ago (well trained husband) and realised that our old Zannussi was now over 16 years old and that over those 16 hard years from washing countless nappies to now countless towels (2 shower obsessed teenagers)this machine has never once broken down, has never had a single replacement part and is still going strong.

Okay I'm sad, but is this a record?

We have got one about the same age - only problem is the occasional drain blockage.

Quite amazing, just think of the amount of viruses it has dealt with, over that period?!!!
And not crashed.

Our tumble dryer (can't remember the make)is over 24 years old and still going strong.

Is that sad enough for this thread?

My parents say they bought the washing machine just before I was born and that is over 14 years now.
