I have a copy of Microsoft Office 2003 I no longer use. Instead of forking out loads for Office Mac, would I be able to install normal Office on a Mac Mini?

I don't think MS Office 2003 will work on a Mac unless it is a Mac version.

ok thanks do you know if there are any similar programs that come with OSX (being a PC user I dont really know where to start looking)

OSX comes with apple works and a text editor, called text edit. Apple works comes with a word processor, spread sheet, data base, paint package, presentation package and a very simple technical drawing package. They are basic, but they do work.

You can download several word processors, mariner write 3.6, nisus writer express 1.1.2 , think free write 2.2 and open office writer 1. 0.3. probably the best ulysses 1.0.3.

hope this helps.:-)
