Moving from OE to Windows LIve on XP machine

Do I need to save all my OE messages and Address Book before I install Windows Live, please? Oh, and any other measures I need to take beforehand as well? Thanks for the help. TC.

I don't use Live, but I am pretty sure all your previous settings etc, will still be intact.

PS - as I understand it anyway, Windows Live is just an updated NAME for OE!

your input. Apparently it's just a simple matter of importing the items into Windows Live Mail.

Now we've both learned something we weren't quite sure of. :o) I'm only 'upgrading' to WLM because OE is no longer supported by Microsoft and has been abandoned by the company. TC.

That website link is outdated as everything transferred over automatically on install as you said it would. Sorry! TC.

>> Windows Live is just an updated NAME for OE <<

Windows Mail could be said to be an updated name for OE - but Windows Live Mail is a different program and is of course closely allied to Windows Live Hotmail.
