Macs and PCs compatibility

Hi guys,

I havent really used apple macs much, so i dont know a lot about them apart from the fact they look really cool and they are supposed to be pretty good.

Anyway, I was to transfer some files between my computer and some at uni. My one is a PC, and the uni one is an Apple mac G5.

I have a USB stick 128MB and a bigger portable hard disk (again USB).

Is there any conflict when transferring files between the two computers?

e.g. does the hard disk/USB stick need to be in a certain file format?

Thanks guys!

As long as your systems administrator at the University allows the tranfer then there should be no conflict, unless the data on the USB drive has been formatted as NTFS. iMacs will not read NTFS files.

Or you could email the documents to yourself from one machine and pick up the email on another ...
