MacBook Pro, XP, and AOL ADSL

Hi! I have a Windows XP desktop with a wireless card installed. It connects to the internet via an external AOL ADSL modem (BT Voyager 100). I also have MacBook Pro.

What I want to do is share the internet between the two computers without having to buy more equipment. I have already managed to make the computers spottily wirelessly network, and share files (although I'd love clarification on this as well..).

How can I network these machines so that they can share internet and files?

Thanks.

Hi unquenched,

If the BT Voyager 100 is a modem/router then both computers will access the internet independently through the router, you say 'I have already managed to make the computers spottily wirelessly network, and share files ', let the forum know what problems you are having file sharing/networking the two computers.
