Before I go to the local Computer shop and get boged down in a load of HI tech speak, Does anyone know if it is possible to install a Mac OS-X over windows on a Home PC.

To 99.99% the answer is no you can not install OS X on a PC.

If you are so minded you can search the web and you will find all manner of links to how it potentially, could possibly, might, perhaps be done.

I asked the same question in Apple/Support discussion forums amd found out this.

"Installing Mac OS X onto PC/Windows violates the End-User License agreement and is clearly stated in the Terms and conditions" So it is Illegal. Even though some google videos have normal brand laptops with mac OS X installed it is breaking the law

If you have a look through Apples terms and conditions then you can see for yourself. The link above shows you how to exactly install it onto Windows and have it working.
