How to find Mac Address...?

Hi all,

For the life of me I cannot seem to find the Mac address for the wireless network card I have installed in the laptop. The address for the wireless router is fine and comes up in the Router setting dialogue but I simply cannot find the Laptop one! Any Ideas?

The set up is a Wireless Broadband Router with a PCMCIA wireless card.

I also cannot for the life of me seem to enable WEP and have to resort to authorising a connection that is not secure, so any tips here (it is why I need the Mac address so as to limit the connection to just this laptop - my desktop is hard wired into the router) would be welcome.

many thanks

If you look for the Ethernet adapter, wireless network connection and look for the line that shows Physical Address then you will get the address.

start run and type cmd.

If your Win98 or WinME then type command then winipcfg.

Chris

Thanks all - Cracked it!
