Can you connect a Voyager 190 to aol using a mac?

I have a voyager 190 connected to my PC and aol that works great. However, i sometimes like to use my Mac Powerbook to connect to the Internet. aol say they don't support the 190 on a mac, is there any work around to this other than buying a new wireless router that's aol compatible with both mac and pc?

the fact it is not supported by aol does not necessarily mean it will not work, have you tried it and if so with what results.?

I use Aol, and a year or two ago, tried to load Aol on a really old Mac laptop which could just manage OS9
My Aol installation disk had nothing later than about version 3 or 4 for a Mac.

Of course it was an old laptop and a couple of years ago, but I don't know anyone who uses Aol and a Mac, and I have the feeling that Aol are not in the least concerned.

If your MAC has an ethernet port then it will connect via the BT Voyager 190 modem/router to anything , all you need is the AOL software for whatever version of Apple Mac OS you have .

Diemmess ,

I'm sure that tens of thousands use AOL with a Mac in the States .

you don't need to install the AOL software.
just set the voyager up with your AOL signing in details.

You are quite right.
Sorry I gave a thoughtless and purely subjective answer.
