apple v pentium

i see pc world are doing the following apple laptop for £500

800MHZ Power PC G3, 128 Mb RAM, 30 Gb HD, 12.1" TFT, CD ROM, 32MB ATi Mobility Radeon Graphics, OS X v10.2 Operating system, 1 Year Free Warranty

what would be a comparable alternative in a pentium model.

more to the point given the choice what would you choose??

I have £900 any laptop suggestions would be good

If you already have windows software, and an OS, I would suggest you look at for their laptop range. For £900 you will get a very good deal; it all depends on what you want from the laptop.

are you allowed to put software on a laptop that was on a desk top legally??

If you mean an OS, yes, if you no longer use it on the desktop.

Otherwise it is one OS, one machine.

MS Office allows an install on both a desktop and a laptop.

A lot of softwares allow you install on both machines if only yourself use them.
