Some friends have purchased an Apple computer and now want a high speed phone line to make the most of their new system. I am told that the Apple computer requires a unique connection and as yet they have not found an ISP that will connect them, has any one got any suggestions or is this a silly question?

is an Apple PowerMac, and it connects to the internet via the same router as all the Windows machines.

Your friends' new Apple Mac will be running Mac OS X and they'll have absolutely no problem connecting to the internet - nothing unique is required, and all they have to do is follow the intructions in the computer's manual. If they get stuck, post back here and I'll post a walk-through for you.
