Adding MacPro to existing Wireless Network

  the haitch 15:17 13 Nov 2007

I have a toshiba laptop and have recently been given a new MacPro with Airport wireless card.

All is working well but I can't remember my password for my home wireless to connect up the mac.

My router is a Belkin G+ Mimo and works well with my laptop. The Mac registers the network and asks for a password but each attempt I make is wrong.

Where can I find the old or reset a new password to allow the Mac onto the internet too?

Access the router, go to the wireless section and copy the security key that you first entered

Save the password in notepad, transfer to laptop via your flash drive and just copy and paste when requested

Delete user profile on the new MacPro laptop and reconnect with the SSID name and the correct security key
