Shopping is best when you're sat at home in the warm with a nice drink and your feet up. You can buy almost anything you can think of from your smartphone or tablet and get it delivered, taking much of the hassle out of shopping. As long as you are ok with getting things delivered, then here are five top apps to get your shopping sorted.

As you'll be spending money on the items you're buying, we've only picked free apps.

eBay app logoeBay

As you probably know, eBay can be a great place to find a bargain on new and used products – or sell them to make some money. You can find almost anything on the site either up for auction or buy it now. The mobile app has an easy to use and stylish interface. You can do all the things you normally do on eBay like search for items, add them to your watch list and bid. The app means you're less likely to miss the end of an auction thanks to notifications and you can use your device's camera to scan barcodes.

Amazon is a go-to place for most consumers and the online retailer's mobile app is the perfect way of shopping its huge catalogue of products without a computer. Some apps are cut down versions of a website but Amazon Mobile gives you access to your existing basket, any wish lists, payment and shipping options, order history, 1-Click settings and Prime membership. You can also buy from Amazon marketplace sellers instead of just Amazon. Like the eBay app, if your device has a camera then you can scan barcodes to search for that product.
