Research in Motion (RIM) has released a software update for its BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.
Version 220.127.116.118 is available to download and bring a few enhancements to the 7-inch device. The smartphone and tablet maker launched PlayBook OS 2.0 back in February bringing with it native email, calendar and contact.
RIM hasn't given a very detailed list of the improvements saying that it includes:
• Browser enhancements to address performance with some websites
• Improvements to support Android apps
• Optimizations to Video Chat, PIM [personal information manager] and BlackBerry Bridge applications
• And much more!
Users should receive a notification about the over-the-air (OTA) upgrade but can also manually check within the settings menu.
